(HUNTSVILLE, AL) – – Rep Laura Hall (D19-Huntsville) hosted over 100 attendees to celebrate Women’s History Month with an annual breakfast, ‘One Woman Change The World’ at the Bob Harrison center on March 29th. This year’s event was the largest, most diverse to date and featured “Pearls of Wisdom from the generations by LaToya Eggleston, Alice Sams and Jody Singer, NASA Marshall Space Flight Center.

This nonpolitical community event was created to honor local heroines from all aspects of life in Huntsville and to bring acknowledgement to the accomplishments of women over the past year. Women have continued to break glass ceilings across the nation in many fields from grassroots organizing to corporate and community organizational leadership. Rep. Laura Hall has represented District 19 for over 20 years, and it includes portions of Huntsville, Moore’s Mill, Harvest, and Meridianville.
