On December 16, 2006 Alabama A&M University honored the Tuskegee Airmen at their Fall Commencement.

The visit by the Airmen allowed me the opportunity to personally meet BG McGee and his fellow Tuskegee Airmen. My late cousin, ShadeLee, a Tuskegee Airmen, arranged for BG McGee and I to meet and I was overjoyed to spend some time with him. We are thankful for BG McGee’s service to our country. Fair winds BG Charles McGee.
