Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the Madkins Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America (2403 Oakwood Road, Huntsville, AL 35810) with Dr. Frederick D. Acklin as officiant and Elder Benjamin Burt as eulogist.
Interment will be in the Pine Grove Memorial Gardens, 759-A Pine Grove Road, Harvest, AL 35749.
Reverend Acklin will lie in repose one hour before the funeral time.
Public viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday, August 22, 2025, and from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m., Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the Royal Funeral Home.
The Omega Ceremony of Rho Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Royal Chapel of Memories. The Acklin family will receive guests from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Royal Chapel of Memories.
