His Bill failed two votes shy of the twenty-one needed in the thirty-five-member Senate. He is going to allow more time to study the Bill and have their say in the Senate. The Republicans say their people wants to vote on the lottery.
HUNTSVILLE LEADERS
An item on the Agenda, Thursday night at the City Council meeting, there was an Ordnance authorizing a lease agreement between the City and the Public Building Authority (PBA) of the City of Huntsville, approving a trust indenture and various other instruments for construction of a new public amphitheater within the City, leased by the PBA lease agreement.
The Public Building Authority was the group that build the City and County Jail and ended up in three lawsuits, but the City furnishes the money to the PBA.
