Mayors from Alabama’s 10 largest cities, including Mayor Battle, met in Hoover this week to review legislative priorities for the upcoming session. These mayors have been working closely together to ensure the needs of municipalities, whose residents comprise the majority of the state’s population, have a cohesive voice in the state capitol. The mayors addressed issues on Internet sales tax, unregulated 5G expansion, crime and the release of police body camera footage.  Pictured amongst the mayors is, Steven Reed who became the first African-American mayor of Montgomery since its incorporation in 1819. He was officially sworn in as Mayor on November
