Leslie Williams, a Florida pastor and author, was arrested on April 22, 2026, on a bigamy warrant out of Rockdale County, Georgia.

ROCKDALE COUNTY, Ga. — May 4, 2026 — A Florida pastor known for writing a marriage guidance book is now facing serious legal trouble after authorities accused him of entering multiple marriages while still legally wed.

Leslie Williams, 62, was arrested on April 22, 2026, in The Villages, Florida, after a warrant was issued out of Rockdale County, Georgia, charging him with bigamy. According to jail records, Williams is currently being held without bond as an out-of-state fugitive.

Investigators with the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office say the case began after a review of marriage records revealed Williams was still legally married when he allegedly entered into another marriage. Authorities confirmed the findings led to the issuance of a warrant. Under Georgia law, bigamy carries a potential sentence of one to 10 years in prison.

Williams, who identifies himself as the pastor of LW Ministries and a board-certified Christian counselor, is also the author of a 2017 book titled Love Her Like This: Loving Her Has Never Been Deeper. The book focuses on marital commitment and offers guidance for husbands seeking to strengthen their relationships.

The case has drawn attention due to the contrast between Williams’ public teachings on marriage and the allegations against him. Social media posts from late 2025 appeared to show changes in his relationship status, including what some followers interpreted as a new marriage.

The investigation remains ongoing.
