GRAPEVINE, Texas — May 1, 2026 — A former Chick-fil-A employee is facing multiple felony charges after police say he carried out an $80,000 fraud scheme involving fake food orders and unauthorized refunds.

According to the Grapevine Police Department, Keyshun Jones allegedly began the scheme in November 2025, shortly after being terminated from a Chick-fil-A location in Grapevine. The investigation was launched after the restaurant’s owner reported suspicious financial losses.

Police say surveillance footage showed Jones entering the business without authorization and standing behind the counter. Investigators allege he created approximately 800 fraudulent orders for macaroni and cheese trays, then immediately issued refunds to his personal credit cards.

Authorities estimate the total loss to exceed $80,000. Officials have not disclosed how Jones was able to repeatedly access the register after his termination.

Following a five-month investigation, officers made several attempts to locate Jones before taking him into custody on April 17, 2026, with assistance from the Texas Attorney General’s Fugitive Task Force and the Fort Worth Police Department.

Jones now faces multiple felony charges, including theft of property, money laundering, and evading arrest. The case remains under investigation.
