This past Saturday in the Five Points area of Huntsville Alabama held the first ever Rest and Relaxation Expo. Although the weather predicted an eighty percent chance of rain, the sun was shining, and the rain stopped. The Expo show cased Small Businesses that were severally hit by COVID-19. More than forty vendors had planned to attend, but due to the prediction of eighty percent rain took a rain check.
The purpose of the Expo was to inform and educate the community on how to relax. We understand this past year was and still is very stressfully on many, but you must take a moment for yourself. Due to COVID-19 many Small Business were closed, meaning the percentage in loans, unemployment benefits, suicide, depression all went up. During this Expo many were able to connect to community resources, shop with local business, relax to the Soulful and talented Saxophonist Yuressa Shonta while eating delicious and tasty food from Brookins Smoken On The Go (1108 Andrew Jackson Way Huntsville Alabama 35801.
