Alabama adds almost 2,500 new COVID cases

Alabama added almost 2,500 new COVID-19 cases overnight.

The Alabama Department of Public Health’s Jan. 3 10 a.m. data shows the state has recorded 371,934 coronavirus cases since March, an increase of 2,476 from the previous day.

One death was added to the bring the state’s total to 4,873.

Here are the latest county-by-county case totals. The figures in parenthesis are the increases from the previous day:
