The Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA), Chapter 1067, Huntsville, Alabama, honored Vietnam Veterans at the Floyd E. ‘Tut’ Fann Veterans Home, located at 2701 Meridian Street, Huntsville, Alabama. The event was held on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. Vietnam War Veteran lapel pins were pinned on veterans who served in the Armed Forces during the Vietnam War era. Special presenter was LTC (Ret) James ‘Mike’ Sprayberry, Vietnam War Medal of Honor (MOH) recipient. VVA Chapter 1067 is the largest VVA chapter in Alabama and the 8th largest chapter in the United States. CSM (Ret) Charlie Miller is the President of chapter 1067. Veterans interested in joining the chapter are invited to attend the monthly meeting on the second Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m., meetings are held at the American Legion Post 237, 2900 Drake Avenue, Huntsville, Alabama.
