Morning Worship prayer was led by our own Deacon Ministry, Deacon Willie L. Smith and Deacon Clifford Patterson. Praise and Worship set the atmosphere by Minister Greg Lanier. The highlight of the program was the Welcome and Occasion given by Bro Nicholas Howard. The song service was rendered by Hopewell Male Chorus and other brothers of the church.

Proclamation of the word was brought by our guest Pastor Dr. Mitchell A Walker Sr. and the sermon was titled “Fit to Finish Romans 5:3-5. Sermon Key Points: Lions and antelope that live in the jungle when the sun comes up they are running to be safe from their prey. The same with athletes they train to get fit. Runners don’t wear anything heavy their gear has to be light to be fit for the kingdom. You can’t eat anything, don’t study God’s words, always stuck in a rut, you have to make a change. Don’t quit!! Stay in the Race. The song writer wrote “I got to run while the blood still running in my veins.” John 6:33 & 1 Thessalonians 3:3. That no man should be moved by their afflictions, for yourself know that we are appointed. You can win and the victory, our heart did burn and God was glorified and the Holy Spirit was high.

Men Day Prayer Breakfast

Call to worship/scripture was done by Minster Paul Dillard and prayer and grace was led by Deacon Freddie Surles. The welcome and occasion was done by Brother Sammy High and praise and worship song “What a fellowship by Deacon Willie Smith. Introduction of Speaker Minister Greg Lanier. Proclamation of the word was presented by Associate Pastor Theromiles Flowers by Union Chapel M.B. Church Huntsville, AL. Minister bought a powerful word, Hebrews 12:1-2 “We All Have a Race to Run” Keypoint: Focus on to make the destination.
