HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Huntsville residents will have an opportunity to support Black-owned businesses while enjoying food, entertainment and community fellowship when The BOLD Market returns Sunday, Aug. 30.
Presented by BOLD Huntsville, the free, family-friendly event will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. at The Orion Amphitheater, 701 Amphitheater Drive NW.
The gathering will showcase Black entrepreneurs and their products and services through an afternoon of shopping, networking and interactive experiences. Food, entertainment and giveaways are also planned, creating an environment where families can have fun while discovering locally owned companies.
Events such as The BOLD Market can provide small-business owners with valuable exposure beyond their regular customer base. Entrepreneurs often rely on community markets to introduce new products, form professional connections and build relationships with residents who may become long-term customers.
The market also gives consumers a direct way to circulate more of their spending within the Huntsville community. Supporting locally owned companies can help businesses expand, create employment opportunities and contribute to the area’s economic vitality.
Admission and parking are free. Although tickets are not required for admission, organizers encourage guests to register in advance to receive event updates and become eligible for exclusive giveaways.
The BOLD Market arrives as Huntsville continues experiencing rapid population and business growth. Organizers describe the celebration as an opportunity to highlight the creativity, determination and economic contributions of the city’s Black entrepreneurs.
Residents attending the outdoor event should consider checking the forecast and bringing weather-appropriate clothing. Additional information and registration are available through The Orion Amphitheater’s official event page.
