Huntsville Hospital is making it easier for patients and community members to access medications by expanding the operating hours at its Medical Mall Pharmacy.
Beginning Aug. 3, the pharmacy is offering Saturday service for the first time while also extending its weekday hours to better accommodate busy schedules. The pharmacy is now open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. It remains closed on Sundays.
Hospital officials said the expanded schedule is designed to improve access to prescription services for hospital patients, employees, and the public.
“Our goal is to make accessing medications and pharmacy care as convenient as possible,” said Jill Denney, manager of retail pharmacy operations at Huntsville Hospital. “By expanding our hours and offering a drive-through option, we’re giving patients and employees greater flexibility to fit pharmacy visits into their busy schedules.”
In addition to longer hours, the Medical Mall Pharmacy features a drive-through window, allowing customers to pick up prescriptions without leaving their vehicles—an option that can benefit parents, seniors, and those recovering from illness.
The pharmacy is open to everyone, not just Huntsville Hospital patients. It is located at 1963 Memorial Parkway SW in Huntsville.
