Submitted by Reginald McKenzie, North Huntsville Business Association (NHBA) executive director

The North Huntsville Business Association (NHBA) is a non-profit organization promoting a positive and informed business environment for its members to achieve cultural, civic, social, economic and business goals, and actively contribute to the North Huntsville Community. Over the past year, the organization has been meeting to layout a roadmap for Business Development in North Huntsville.
NHBA is ready to set meetings with Community Partners (i.e. Churches, Colleges and Universities, Medical Facilities, Neighborhood Groups, Leadership groups, Professional Societies in an effort to outline a Master Plan for North Huntsville.
Our Community Partners will be challenged to take ownership of key projects needed for our community. To quote these historic words:, “Ask not what your country (replace with City) can do for you – ask what can you do for your country” (replace with City) end quote. As a community, we must be proactive in pursuing the changes we expect.
The City has approved a very proactive budget which includes great things for our community. By December 2018, the City of Huntsville will complete the purchase of the old Terry Pizza location. NHBA will participate in the planning and development of this site. We look forward to hearing from our community so please mark your calendars for an update on the great things coming to District 1:
