Mobile County Sheriff Paul Burch said the three Wilmer victims, 46-year-old Lisa Gail Ferguson (also known as Lisa Fields), 12-year-old Thomas Cordelle Jr., and 17-year-old Keziah Lucker, who was pregnant, were found bound in separate rooms of the home on Auble Moody Road with no signs of forced entry. The Mobile County investigators are searching for one or more suspects after a brutal quadruple homicide left a mother, her two children, and an unborn child dead.

The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office says the victims were found overnight inside a mobile home on Auble Moody Road in Wilmer. Investigators believe the killings were targeted. The three victims were found in separate rooms with their hands bound behind their backs using zip ties.

“It tells me that they had a plan coming in to bring zip ties,” said Sheriff Paul Burch.

Authorities identified the victims as 46-year-old Lisa Gail Ferguson, also known as Lisa Fields, 17-year-old Keziah Lucker, who was pregnant, and 12-year-old Thomas Cordelle Jr.

Burch said Ferguson’s throat was slashed, Lucker was shot in the head, and the 12-year-old suffered extreme injuries. “The 12-year-old was almost decapitated,” Burch said.

An 18-month-old child was also found inside the home but was unharmed.

Investigators say there were no signs of forced entry and believe more than one suspect may be involved. The home appeared to have been ransacked, suggesting someone may have been searching for something.

The case came to light after the child’s father, working offshore, became concerned when he could not reach Lucker and noticed unusual phone activity through a tracking app.

District Attorney Keith Blackwood says multiple capital murder charges are possible. Authorities say they are actively pursuing “positive leads” in the case.
