HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Oakwood University Church (OUC) invites families in Huntsville and surrounding  communities to join the fun at this year’s Fall Festival under the theme, “Creation,” on Sunday, Nov. 2, from 1 to 3 p.m. The event will take place on the church grounds at 5500 Adventist Blvd. NW, and is free for all ages.

The family-friendly celebration will feature a variety of activities and attractions designed to bring the community together. Guests can enjoy train rides, face painting, bounce houses, live animal exhibits, arts and crafts, cotton candy, popcorn and free food throughout the afternoon.

One of the most anticipated parts of the day is the Trunk or Treat contest, where participants decorate their car trunks with animal-themed designs and hand out candy to children. Community members can participate by bringing their own decorated trunks reflecting this year’s theme. The best-decorated trunks will receive a prize. Those who wish to enter the contest can register online at http://oucsda.churchcenter.com/registrations/ events/3216584.

The event will also include a costume fashion show, a pie-eating contest and a grocery giveaway, making it a fun-filled afternoon of laughter and fellowship. In addition to the festivities, the church is hosting a charitable initiative called Christmas Kicks for Kids. Attendees are encouraged to bring a pair of new shoes for OUC to donate during the upcoming holiday season to children who need footwear.

The OUC Fall Festival provides a safe and welcoming space for families to enjoy autumn festivities, connect with neighbors and celebrate the joy of community. Whether you’re there for the games, giveaways or good food, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Bring your family, invite your friends and join the fun on Sunday, Nov. 2, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the OUC.
