By SPEAKIN’ OUT NEWS

The Huntsville Music Office, in partnership with Campus No. 805 and Downtown Huntsville, Inc., hosted a full-throttle weekend of live music to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Campus 805 during Huntsville Music Month.

From brass-fueled grooves to ’90s cowboy dance parties, the three-day festival weekend transformed Campus 805 on September 18–20. Admission was free, and the celebration featured food trucks, local vendors, games, inflatables, giveaways and more. The festival began each night at 5 p.m. with live music starting at 6 p.m.

“Campus 805 has become a cultural hub for Huntsville’s music and creative community,” said Huntsville Music Officer Matt Mandrella ahead of the event. “We’re thrilled to celebrate its 10th anniversary with three nights of live music that perfectly embody the energy and creativity of this space.”

Thursday, Sept. 18, 5–9 p.m.

The celebration kicked off with 805 After Five, featuring opener Bone Yard of Brass and headliner Saxsquatch.

Known for their funky horn lines, infectious rhythms, and street parade spirit, Bone Yard of Brass set the tone for the weekend with their second line sound.

With a wildly fun mashup of smooth saxophone melodies and electronic beats, the mysterious, larger-than-life Saxsquatch closed the night with a festival-ready vibe that mixed nostalgia, comedy, and grooves.

Friday, Sept. 19, 5–9 p.m.

The festival continued on Friday with Huntsville’s own GypsySoul opening for headliner JUICE.

Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Gypsy, GypsySoul energized the crowd with their dynamic live show and genre-bending sound.

Boston-born and now touring nationally, JUICE brought an electrifying mix of pop, rock, hip-hop, and R&B wrapped in tight harmonies and explosive live energy. The seven-piece band lived up to its reputation for genre-defying hooks and feel-good anthems that got the audience dancing.

Saturday, Sept. 20, 5–9 p.m.

The weekend festivities closed with Boot Scootin’ Boogie Nights: A Night of ’90s Country. Known for transforming classic country hits into dancefloor anthems, the band delivered two full sets of boots, sequins, and sing-alongs, capping the festival with an unforgettable finale.
