If you have ever been arrested, taken into custody, chances are the arresting officer mirandized you.
They said something along the lines of “You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be provided for you.”
Nevertheless, when it comes to those who know God for themselves, those whom the Son has set free, and know we’ve been born again — we don’t have a right to keep silent.
The Bible says in Psalms 100: 4 -5 “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.
With all that’s going on; the world needs our witness, needs to hear of God’s goodness, and to know of His unfailing love.
There should never be a time when we don’t say something about the goodness of God!
If you know you have been redeemed from the hand of the enemy, blood bought, Holy Ghost filled and fire baptized — you ought to say so!
The Bible says, “if these hold their peace, the rocks will cry out”.
Listen, I don’t need no rocks crying out for me; God didn’t wake the rock up this morning, He woke me up right on time.
God didn’t give the rock blood running warm from vein to vein, He gave me blood in my body; God didn’t put food on a rock’s table He put food on my table; He didn’t keep the rock from hurt, harm, and danger, He kept me!
If the Lord has done all this for you and for me, we don’t have a right to remain silent.
