Alabama A&M University’s ROTC program will present its 53rd Annual Military Ball on Saturday, April 19, at 6 p.m. at the AAMU Event Center – an evening that promises elegance, tradition, and a proud salute to service. The annual ball is a time-honored celebration that brings together cadets, alumni, families, and community members to recognize the accomplishments and heritage of the Bulldog Battalion.
This year’s keynote speaker is Major General Gavin Lawrence, Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics and Operations for the U.S. Army Materiel Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. A 1995 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Lawrence brings more than 30 years of decorated service, with a career spanning multiple command posts, overseas deployments, and key roles at the Pentagon.
From his early days in the Quartermaster Corps to leading logistics at the national level, Lawrence exemplifies the leadership and commitment that the ROTC program instills in future officers. His presence underscores the Military Ball’s mission to inspire cadets while honoring those who have served.
Tickets are $25, and guests are encouraged to RSVP early to reserve their seats at this distinguished occasion.
