It is with sadness that Alabama A&M University mourns the passing of Dr. Roderick DeWayne Watts, AAMU Board of Trustees President Pro Tempore. Trustee Watts transitioned Monday after a lengthy illness. The thoughts and prayers of the AAMU community are with the Watts family during this time.
A public visitation is scheduled for Friday, January 31 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place Saturday, February 1 at 12:00 p.m. Details are as follows:
