Bryson Hannah is 1 of 5 students nationwide selected to attend the 52nd Annual H. Naylor Fitzhugh Conference at Harvard University. A junior mechanical engineering major, Hannah will take part in the weekend focused on exploring business insights, networking with top professionals and executives from various industries and functions and gaining a deeper understanding of the Harvard Business School.
“It’s an honor to be in the select few to be chosen for this opportunity,” said Hannah. “I hope to broaden my knowledge of what makes leaders effective and add it to my leadership style. I also hope to remain connected with the leaders at Southern Company who selected me following my summer internship in Birmingham. I look forward to more opportunities for exposure and to increase my professional network.”
The conference will take place in Boston February 6-9 and promises a compelling lineup of activities, including panels featuring current students, networking receptions, and more.
“My interest was sparked by the opportunity for exposure to leaders that I strive to grow to be like,” he said. “I want to hear from them and learn how they applied what they learned to grow as a successful professional. I also want to make those who selected me proud and pay the opportunity forward to other young professionals at Alabama A&M University.”
