UPDATE: Police on Monday said the teen has been found safe in Philadelphia.
Police are working to get Ronnie back to Alabama.
EARLIER: Authorities say a Bessemer teen missing since Thursday could
be in Pennsylvania.
Rachael “Ronnie” Attical, 13, is transgender and autistic, according to the Bessemer Police Department.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency on Friday issued a Missing Child
Alert.
Bessemer police Lt. Christian Clemons on Sunday said authorities have
received information that Ronnie took an Amtrak train to Philadelphia. Authorities in Alabama have contacted police in Pennsylvania. Ronnie was last seen possibly wearing a black shirt with red stripes on the sleeves.
Ronnie is 5-feet, 5-inches tall and weighs 125 pounds. Anyone with information on Ronnie’s whereabouts is asked to call Bessemer police at 205-425-2411 or Det. McCay at 205-565-1320.
