AAMU fans came out to support their Bulldogs for the 81st Magic City Classic.

Before the game, AAMU President Daniel K. Wims and ASU President Quinton T. Ross took part in several check presentations:

Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin and the City of Birmingham presented each university with a check for $400,000.

Magna presented each university with a check for $80,000.

Jefferson County Commissioner Sheila Tyson and the Jefferson County Commission presented each school with a $50,000 check.

Coca-Cola presented a check for $125,000 to the Magic City Classic.

Our Bulldogs were about to score when time ran out. They fought until the very end, but the ASU Hornets took it 24- 17. Hold your heads high Bulldogs! #aamu #AAMUA- lumni
