The Dr. Izora P. Harrison Foundation, a nonprofit educational foundation, donated school supplies to Rolling Hills Elementary School on Friday, December 10, 2021. The donation included school supplies, kinder mats, backpacks, clothing, and toiletry gift bags for girls and boys, made and donated by Teddy and Ruth Gunn.
The foundation was started by Mrs. Rosemary Robinson and named after Dr.Robinson, Mrs. Robinson’s mentor when she first started her educational pursuit at Calhoun Community College. The theme of the foundation is “Mentoring for Generational Success.”
Dr. Kellen Conaway, Principal of Rolling Hills, and Ms. Dimetia Smith, Rolling Hills counselor, received the donations delivered by Dr. Harrison, Mrs. Rosemary Robinson, and her husband, Quinton Robinson, and Mary Smith.
