Progressive Union Missionary Baptist Church Annual Women’s Day 2021

The Progressive Union Missionary Baptist Church celebrated Women’s Day on Sunday, September 26, 2021, at the 10:00 a.m. worship service. Theme for this year’s Women Day was “Powerful Sisters Serving In Love and Unity”, scripture reference was Ephesians 4:2-3. Speaker for the service was Rev. Jacquelyn Powell, Co-Pastor of the Latter Rain Christian Fellowship Church, Hartford, Connecticut. Her sermon was “The Challenge of Remaining Steadfast”, scripture reference 2 Samuel 5: 17-21. Music was provided by the Progressive Union Women’s Day choir, under the direction of LaKysha Morris. The Progressive Union Came 2 Praise (C2P) Dance Ministry ministered in dance at the service. A pre-Women’s Day Virtual Brunch was held on Saturday, September 25, 2021, 11:00-1:00 p.m. The brunch included games, speakers, and fellowship.
