PUBLIC NOTICE
The Huntsville-Madison County Airport Authority (HMCAA), owner and operator of theHuntsville International Airport and the International Intermodal Center in Huntsville,Alabama, has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program in accordance with the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) 49 Code of FederalRegulations Part 26. The HMCAA has received financial assistance from the DOT (Federal Aviation Administration) and, as a condition of receiving that assistance, the HMCAA has signed an assurance that it will comply with 49 CFR Part 26 DBE regulations.The HMCAA has proposed an overall DBE goal and rationale for FAA funding for Fiscal Years 2021, 2022, and 2023 (Oct. 1, 2020 – Sept. 30, 2023). The proposed overall DBE goal for FAA projects that are expected to be awarded in Fiscal Years 2021, 2022 and 2023 is 17.88%. The HMCAA will accept public comments on the overall goal through September 26, 2020.
