Deacon Henry Kelly celebrates his 90th Birthday

HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA – – On March 28, 2018, Deacon Henry Kelly celebrated his 90th birthday. To celebrate this milestone, he was surprised by his children with a birthday dinner. The event was held Saturday, March 24th at the Little Indian Creek P.B. Church.

In attendance were his family, his Pastor Reverend Dr. Jerry L. Crutcher and first lady, Mother Joyce Crutcher, friends, and church family. Highlights were moments of reflection by his brother, Walter Kelly, Sr. and adopted son, Tommie Milton, Resolution from The City of Huntsville District 5 presented by Councilman Will Culver and recognition by Deputy Chief Corey Harris.

Deacon Kelly’s heritage began with his father the late Charlie Kelly, Sr. and the late Lena Petty Kelly. He is the third born child of eleven. He was married to the late Odell M. Kelly and they were blessed with six children, Idella Houston, Charlie M. Ragland, Lillie A. Ben, Mary A. Kelly, Thomas Kelly, and Timothy Kelly.
