HUNTSVILLE, AL – – The surprise celebration given by his sisters, was held at his beloved church, Progressive Union Missionary Baptist Church on April 18. Although very civically and socially engaged, Greg is also as the guy with the camera. Though not a professional photographer, he is seen around town at all kinds of events capturing history and memories. A native of Dothan, Alabama, Miley has been a resident of Huntsville for the past 46 years and has made lots of lasting relationships. Miley was totally surprised by the celebration and moved to tears as his sisters, nieces and nephews from South Alabama and Georgia surprised him with their presence. The parade lasted a little over an hour with a steady stream of cars with well wishes from friends, church members, former co-workers, neighbors, high school and college classmates and the list goes on.
