Thanks, to Speakin Out News and to our many dedicated readers. I am very happy to see this beautiful weather. Remember the time changes on March 14th. I guess I am a true southerner as I do not like the cold weather.
I am so thankful to have my health back. I have completed all my shoulder therapy at TOC and am doing so much better. The lady that does my hair fell and broke her hip a few months ago and last week the lady that owns the beauty shop broke her leg getting into her car. Please be careful.
We have a lot to be thankful for every day. I was told by God to get my house in order. I have 8 cemetery lots in Sparta, Tennessee where my husband was buried in 1966. We bought lots for our family in Maple Hill Cemetery and had him moved there about four years ago. I have heard that there are very few lots left in Maple Hill. I guess the cemetery needs to buy more property to expand this beautiful cemetery.
ALABAMA MASK ENDING
Governor Kay Ivey made the announcement to end the statewide mask order on April 9th. After April 9th, the requirement will become a “matter of responsibility and not a government mandate’’. While the mask order remains for another month other provisions of the state’s “stay at home” are changing. Restaurants, bars, and breweries will no longer have to limit party size but must maintain 6 feet distance restriction between tables. Outdoor programs will still be allowed at senior centers with programs written by the Department Senior Services.
PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN
What is going on in this country? The news is after Biden for some of the things he is doing, and many people are reporting they are sorry they voted for him for President. The immigrant deal is one where there are millions of immigrants trying to get into the USA without going thru the proper process. There are buses over there picking immigrants up to bring them to the US. Many of our citizens are upset about the opening of our borders. There is a draft plan to transform the Migrant detention centers to places to house the children.
NEW AMPLITHEATER IN HUNTSVILLE
Who will pay the over $40M for the new amphitheater to be built on the property of Mid-City when we could have built it on the Coke property for the VBC and let them run it. We had to pay people to come in from outside of our city that have no idea what our city is about to do our planning for us. Our leaders did not question the cost and voted to approve it anyway. They have pieced and patched the VBC all these years and have never done much to help them. Just like the Heart of Huntsville property that sat vacant for over 8 years without the City offering to help the owners as they have helped many of their friends.
Love you all and have a blessed week.
