HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Nurses, allied health professionals and community members will gather in Huntsville October 16–18 as Baptist Nursing Fellowship hosts its annual conference under the theme “Blast Off to Great Health!”
The conference will be held at Huntsville Park Baptist Church–Mill City Church, 3120 Triana Blvd. Its program brings professional education together with Bible study, worship, fellowship, and opportunities to learn about medical missions and meet missionaries.
Organizers say participants can earn four continuing education units. Sessions will address understanding Generation Alpha and Generation Z, the intersection of artificial intelligence, innovation and faith, and ways a faith community wellness initiative can serve local residents.
The weekend will also include food, door prizes, and a silent auction. Conference participants are expected to receive a T-shirt and a bag of materials.
On Sunday, October 18, the fellowship plans a free community health fair focused on health education, wellness resources and compassionate care. The fair gives Huntsville residents a way to connect with the conference’s mission even if they are not attending its professional sessions.
