Strength Through the Journey: Rebecca King-Crews  Opens Up About Parkinson’s Battle

By SPEAKIN’ OUT NEWS

Rebecca King-Crews is opening up about her  decade-long battle with Parkinson’s disease to inspire  awareness and hope.

The 60-year-old singer and actress was diagnosed in 2015 after years of  unexplained symptoms, including tremors, numbness, and changes in movement.  Initially dismissed as stress, her condition went undiagnosed for about three years  before she sought further medical answers.

Despite the challenges, Rebecca continued her daily life while managing  symptoms that affected her balance, sleep, and mobility. Recently, she underwent  a procedure that has significantly improved movement on one side of her body.  She shared that she can now write again—something she had not been able to do  for nearly three years.

Her husband, Terry Crews, praised her strength, saying, “But to watch her write  her name for the first time in three years… I’m choked up just thinking about it.”

Rebecca plans to undergo a second procedure later this year and says she  remains hopeful. By speaking out, she hopes to raise awareness and inspire others  facing similar health battles.
