Downtown Huntsville’s skyline is evolving — and now future residents can claim their spot.
Developers behind the $220 million Front Row mixed-use development have officially launched pre-leasing for The Residences at Front Row, marking a significant milestone for the highly anticipated project rising across from the Von Braun Center.
Essex Capital and Ascend Property Group announced that the residential website went live Feb. 24, allowing prospective tenants to explore floor plans, check availability, and secure units ahead of the projected June 2026 move-in date.
The first phase of Front Row is designed as a hospitality-inspired destination that blends upscale rental residences with curated retail, Class A office space, public art, and green space — all in the heart of downtown.
The residential component will offer a mix of studio, one-bedroom, and multi-bedroom apartments. Planned amenities include co-working lounges, rooftop gathering areas, and resort-style pool decks in each building.
Two residential towers will frame a central urban green space envisioned as a community gathering hub. The outdoor area is expected to feature patios, art installations, lounge seating, cooking stations, and gaming areas. Nearly 50,000 square feet of experiential retail will surround the development, adding dining, shopping, and entertainment options within steps of residents’ front doors.
Front Row’s timeline aligns with other major downtown projects, including the Riverwalk and a proposed pedestrian Skybridge connecting the city center to Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment. The development is also near Big Spring Park, Fountain Circle, and key employment hubs, including Redstone Arsenal and Cummings Research Park.
Developers say more announcements about office tenants, retail concepts, and dining options will follow as the project continues its phased rollout.
