On Monday, June 3, 2019, District 4 County Commissioner Phil Vandiver officially opened the Madison Crossroads Community Center, located at 11329 Pulaski Pike, Toney, Alabama 35773, with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 2:00 p.m., followed by an open house until 6:30 p.m.
Madison County Commissioner Phil Vandiver, Alabama Speaker of the House Mac McCutcheon and State Representative Andy Whitt Madison County Legislative Delegation, Madison County Commissioners and Madison County Commission Chairman Dale Strong were in attendance.
The Community Center is approximately 32,000 sq. ft. and includes 2 gyms, which can be used for basketball, volleyball, and pickleball. The facility is equipped with a walking track and conference or meeting room. District Four Commissioner Vandiver provided funding and his office oversaw the construction of this project.
