A state probation officer arrested in August after authorities say he engaged in sexual conduct with a person who is on parole or probation is facing new charges involving four more victims.
Jeremy Damon Hall, 31, has now been accused by multiple people of coercing or convincing them to engage in sexual conduct with him, the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit announced Monday.
The investigation was launched a couple of months ago at the request of the Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Parole. Hall was probation officer assigned to the Tuscaloosa field office but has since been fired.
The agency’s Special Investigations Unit (Internal Affairs) worked with the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit on the probe.
Hall was previously charged with one count of custodial sexual misconduct. After his arrest on Aug. 12, the investigation continued.
Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit Capt. Jack Kennedy said multiple people who were supervised by Hall in his role as a probation officer have been located.
At this time, six additional warrants have been obtained on Hall for custodial sexual misconduct involving four different victims in addition to the initial victim.
Hall was taken back into custody on Monday. He is being held in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on bonds totaling $90,000.
The Tuscaloosa County District Attorney’s Office filed a motion, which was granted, applying numerous release conditions upon Hall, if he were to make bond on these cases. The release conditions include ankle monitoring.
Kennedy said investigators believe there may still be more victims of Hall, and anyone supervised by him who may have been approached, propositioned, threatened, coerced or otherwise convinced into engaging in sexual conduct with him is strongly urged to contact the Violent Crimes Unit at 205-464-8690.
