
Officers of the Huntsville Madi- son County Alumni Chapter of the Alabama A&M University Alumni Association, Inc., presented the Rather G. Brown Scholarship at the Alumni House on Sunday, September 26, to a local deserving student.
Chapter members presented a $1,500 scholarship award to Kirsten N. Tigner, a freshman mechanical engineering major from Madison, Ala. Kirsten, who graduated from Bob Jones High School, was joined at the presentation by her mother, Cheryl Jackson. TheRather G. Brown Scholarship was presented to Kirsten recognition of her academic achievement and leader- ship potential.
Chapter officers at-tending the brief award program included Sandra Lyles-Jackson, president; James M. Mitchell, treasurer; and James D. Foster, scholarship chair.
