Local Fashion Designer Creates Costumes for the Vulcan & Vesta Official Mascots of The World Games 2022

(SPECIAL TO SPEAKIN’ OUT NEWS) – – Mariah Gullatte from Harvest, AL, was awarded the opportunity to design the Costumes for the recently revealed The World Games Official Mascots-Vulcan and Vesta of The World Games 2022.

Mariah is a graduate of Sparkman High School and Auburn University with a B.S. in Apparel Design and is currently a Graduate student at Auburn in Hospitality Management. She is the daughter of Karl and Donna Gullatte of Harvest, AL.

During a July press conference, Mayor Randall Woodfin introduced Vulcan and Vesta as the official mascots of The World Games 2022 Birmingham.

As symbol of Birmingham’s history these together, will explore Birmingham and the State of Alabama entertaining crowds, attending events and making special appearances leading up to The World Games 2022.

The World Games is an 11-day sports celebration held in the year following the Summer Olympic Games. The Games represents the highest level of competition for more than 3,600 international athletes and 30+ unique sports.

At the pinnacle of sports and entertainment, Birmingham, Alabama takes center stage July 7-17, 2022 to host The World Games 2022.
