One Woman’s Opinion

I want to thank Speakin Out News and our many dedicated readers.  I hope everyone is well as the virus is not getting better. With the Christmas season here, it will be harder to stay apart and practice good safe distancing.  My oldest grandson is home from Auburn for the Christmas Holidays and we are so happy to get to spend this time with him.

It is hard to believe all the things going on in our Country today. God is good and we need to pray every day. I was listening to a minister on TV this morning and he was great. He spoke of the media and how they have tried to change the people. He said God is his savior and he did need to hear what the media has to say. He spoke that you must just trust God, have Faith and be a believer. No, I am not a minister but, in my life, God has been so good to me and my family. He made us all and will take us all. Life, Health, Faith and Family is what life is all about. Please pray daily as God is listening.

GET YOUR HOUSE IN ORDER

I fell two months ago and broke my shoulder and I believe this was all for a reason. It has slowed me down and given me time to focus on some of the things I had been putting off.  I am not able to drive at this time so my daughter drives me to therapy two times a week and my family is having to do so much for me.

Get your house in order as we can’t take anything with us and we don’t need to leave our loved ones stuck to have to take care of our messes.

I am reminded of a story about a couple that met in high school, got married and spent a great life together with lots of good fortune.  They had no children and the Husband was worried what would happen to all their riches when they died. He told his wife he wished he could take it all with him.  His wife told him that if anything happened to him, she would make sure he did.  When he died, she wrote a huge check and placed it in his hands in the casket.

VACCINES FOR ALABAMIANS

The State Health experts are laying the ground work for huge distribution efforts for virus vaccines. While many people are concerned about the vaccines, I feel they are a good thing as the hospitals are overcrowded and the number of deaths is still on the rise. I pray these vaccines will start turning things around from this epidemic and in 2021 we will start getting our lives more back to normal.

Love you all and have a blessed week.
