“It’s good to be home, here at AAMU, surrounded by my HBCU family,” stated Dr. Bernice A. King, The Chief Executive Officer of the King Center, and youngest daughter of the late Coretta Scott King and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr. King, an HBCU graduate, then delivered a powerful message during the Beyond Normal Lecture Series, Black History Month.
Dr. King told students her parents’ legacies are just as important today, as they have ever been. Afterwards, Dr. King took time to meet AAMU students, faculty, staff, and community members.
