
HONOLULU – Eddie Stansberry posted career-highs in points and 3-pointers as Hawaii held off Alabama A&M 71-63 Saturday night in a non-conference men’s basketball game.
Stansberry led Hawaii (9-6) with 26 points, and he finished with six 3-pointers.
Alabama A&M (1-12) made a run late in the second half as Tre Todd scored five points during a 9-0 run that trimmed the deficit to 63-61 with 1:33 remaining in the game. But Stansberry responded a with a 3-point play that helped Hawaii pull away.
Todd finished with 18 points, making four 3-pointers. Jalen Reeder added 12 points.
